10 rules of dog training

Many dog owners want to expand the capabilities and abilities of their pet. Of course, you can resort to the help of a dog handler, in this case, the training of the puppy will be more effective, and you can also try to teach the dog some commands yourself. To do this, remember a few simple rules that will help anyone in training dogs. Rule #1. You should not allow your dog something that you have already forbidden it. For example, you forbade her to chew shoes, but then came uninvited guests, which you do not like, and you suddenly allowed her to chew their shoes. Such methods can confuse the animal and the next time it will bite your shoes again. Rule #2. When submitting a certain command, the dog needs to achieve its fulfillment. For example, they gave the command “sit”, but the command is not executed, in this case, you do not need to go directly to another command, but try to make the dog perform exactly the one that you have already given it. And be sure to fix the result with a yummy or clicker. Rule#3. When fixing certain commands, you do not need to change them or train them again in a different way. For example, a dog can stand on its hind legs using a support like a chair, but you want it to do it without a support. You should change the execution of the command gradually, since such experiments can lead to complete forgetting of the command. Rule#4. You need to establish with the dog understanding. To do this, you need to give your pet a lot of free time, try to walk with him more often, praise, play. This will help with training the dog. Rule#5. Do not deceive the dog, and do not leave it alone for a long time. The dog must feel its owner and be on the same wavelength with him. Rule#6. You need to remember that the correct execution of a particular command depends not on the dog, but on you. If you incorrectly trained and explained the dog, then the result will be the same. Rule#7. Taking care of your pet is considered the most important rule of training. Everyone needs care and understanding, especially during long training sessions. Rule#8. You must always keep the dog under control. The dog will probably behave inappropriately in different situations, and the owner should not lose his vigilance. Rule#9. Always really evaluate the capabilities of your pet. Don’t try to squeeze more out of him than he could give. Rule#10. And last, try not to lose the respect and trust of your dog. Don’t take your anger out on him, and don’t yell at him. Otherwise, all that you passed with him will be in vain.
